Swimnastics
Join our low impact water exercise class known as Swimnastics this summer at the Goodrich Pool. Classes will meet for an 8 day session starting June 4th with the fun beginning at 10 am. Cost per session: $15 Y Members; $20 Program Participants. Session Dates: #1 June 4-June 13, #2 June 18-June 27, #3 July 2-July 12, #4 July 16 - July 25
Spring Basketball League
This league will be for any team looking to play basketball in a league setting. All players must be 18 years of age to participate. Sign your team up today! Referees will be provided. The season ends with a single elimination tournament.
Church Basketball League
This league will be for church affiliated teams. All members of each team must actively attend church. Our Church Basketball League begins in January, ending in March.
Noon Recreational Basketball/Volleyball
We offer pick-up basketball games on Monday/Wednesday/Friday and pick-up volleyball on Tuesday/Thursday. Play begins approximately at Noon each day, ending at 1:30 p.m. Noon basketball/volleyball is free to our Y members with a fee of $3 for basketball/$2 for volleyball for non-members.
Golf Lessons
Thanks to the professionals at the Winchester Golf Club, the Y offers golf lessons every Spring. A special "Y" rate allows participants six hours of instruction at a discounted price. Class dates will be Monday April 23, Wednesday April 25, Monday April 30 using Wednesday May 2nd as a make-up day. Class times will be from 5:30-7:30 p.m. each night. Tennis Lessons
The Y will offer adult tennis lessons July 3- August 2. Lessons will be held at the Winchester High School courts from 9-10:30 a.m. each day. Cost: $30 Y members, $40 Program Participants. Registration begins June 22.
Zumba
When participants see a Zumba class in action, they can’t wait to give it a try. Zumba classes feature exotic rhythms set to high-energy Latin and international beats. Before participants know it, they’re getting fit and their energy levels are soaring! There’s no other fitness class like a Zumba Fitness-Party. It’s easy to do, effective and totally exhilarating, often building a deep-rooted community among returning students.
Total Body Workout
You will be challenged with heart-pumping cardio blasts, strength building tasks and many other revoluntionary physical challenges. Equipment used: dumbbells, bodyweight, hands, step, stability ball and more.

Yoga
Come relax, strengthen, stretch, and tone in Yoga class at the YMCA with Gwen or Sara. It is a class for all levels of fitness and allows each individual to work at their own pace and ability. Stretching is done on mats, standing, or in a chair. Strengthening is done using body weight, resistance bands, exercise balls, or free weights for a wide range of movements. The class is ended by totaling relaxing the mind and body leaving students with a feeling of just leaving the spa. Everyone is welcome and its free for members. Zumba Gold
Are you looking for a fun way to exercise with low impact and a slower pace? Zumba Gold is the answer. Zumba is a fitness based dance with music bound to make you move burning up to 500 calories in an hour. Experienced Zumba instructor modifies moves so ALL AGES AND FITNESS LEVELS are falling in love with the “exercise party”. Anyone can do Zumba, the cost is $5 at the door for non-members and $3 for members, just follow the instructor and have fun. Come bust a move at the Randolph County YMCA. Dates/times will be provided by the instructor.
Silver Striders Walking Club
Every Second and Fourth Tuesdays of the month there is a free hour of walking any senior citizen. Come socialize, stretch, and get your blood pressure tested while talking with new and old friends. Call for times 584-9622.
